• To show properties on the map and help you find rentals or PGs.
• To let owners and brokers list, manage, and respond to enquiries.

Owner names, WhatsApp numbers, and email addresses are kept private by default. We only reveal them to signed-in users who have added their own mobile number, through our audited server-side reveal flow. This helps reduce spam and fake enquiries.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Our backend/cloud hosting provider, which stores data securely and powers authentication, database, and storage.
• Google Maps, when you use the map view or search by location.
• Email delivery services, to send verification, password reset, and transactional messages from notify.rentiz.in.
• Law enforcement or government agencies, if required by applicable Indian law or a valid court order.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the site. We may also use analytics tools to collect anonymized traffic data. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, row-level security, and strict access controls. However, no online service is completely secure, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and report suspicious activity.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account or a listing, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable time, unless required to keep it for legal or safety reasons.

Rentiz is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make important changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Rentiz after changes means you accept the updated policy.
